MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION
COAL INDIA RETIRED OFFICERS’ WELFARE ASSOCIATION, NAGPUR
1) NAME OF THE SOCIETY :
The name of the Society shall be "COAL INDIA RETIRED OFFICER'S WELFARE ASSOCIATION", and shall herein after be referred to as the Society.
2) ADDRESS OF THE SOCIETY :
The present provision is deleted and till the society acquires or arranges alternative office accommodation the residence of the General Secretary will be the office of the society. As and when there is any change of General Secretary the office of the society will also change. Such office address will be without any office board/name plate but the said address will be mentioned in the society letter head and other correspondence and for the present it will be 2nd floor Madhu Madhav Towers, Laxmi Bhawan Square, Dharampeth,
Nagpur-440010.
3) AIMS & OBJECTIVES :
The aims and objectives for which the society is formed are as under:3.1. To promote emotional security to the members.
3.2. To take steps to protect the interests and basic needs of the members.
3.3. To take such measures as may be necessary to enable the members to maintain physical and mental well being.
3.4. To establish contacts and hold meaningful dialogue with the authorities of Coal India Ltd. and its subsidiaries & others for the welfare of their retired officers such as adequate medical care, housing, old age benefits including pension etc.
3.5. To extend cooperation and assistance for securing medical, social, cultural or recreational facilities for the members and their spouses.
3.6. To function as a knowledge bank and render such advice and service by making use of the expertise of the members: To do or undertake' such other acts helping such industries with the expertise in-built in the association.
3.7. To organize seminars, workshops and projects for promoting the study in C.I.L. /Subsidiaries.
3.8. To publish a periodical journal and other publications such as books, hand-books, reports, proceeding of conferences etc.
3.9 To arrange lectures/courses for members to creat awareness for healthy living/life style.
